Policies/Trash

As emailed on 3/20/2021:

New Policy: Trash

• If you see a trash can without a bag, put one in it
  • Trash cans need bags in them so we can put trash in the dumpster
  • Trash bags of all varieties can be found under the kitchen sink
• If you make a trash can full, take the trash bag to the dumpster and put in a new bag
  • Trash cans are not for playing garbage jenga no matter how fun it is
• Large sharp objects must be thrown directly in the dumpster
  • These objects cut holes in the bags and make big messes
  • If you need a definition for "Large": anything with a dimension over 2ft

If you can't do these for some reason, facilities probably needs to know. Email and slack work great for getting in touch with facilities.
