Overview

We have a freebie edition of SolidEdge, plus a need for other software for solid modeling, circuit designing, 2D designing, etc. This is a project to crowdsource the funds and the specs for a reasonably powerful machine to handle these tasks.

  • Justin mentioned bringing in his 3D space mouse for modeling

SOFTWARE

• See if we can get copies of some nice CAD/modeling software, like AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Rhino, or the like. Since we're a non-profit, they may be willing to give us free copies. Also, maybe someone has a student license?
