Brandy Queen's Blueberry Goat Cheese Basil Pie

• 1/3 c goat cheese
• 3 Tbls all-purpose flour
• 3/4 c light brown sugar
• 1/3 c heavy whipping cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1/4 c fresh basil
• 2-3 cups fresh blueberries
• 9in deep dish pie shell
• 3 Tbls granulated sugar
• 3 Tbls butter, melted
• 1/2 c sliced almonds

1. . Preheat oven to 400°.
2. . Combine first 7 ingredients; mix with spoon until smooth. Then fold in blueberries and basil. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
3. . Combine sugar, butter, and almonds; spread atop pie.
4. . Bake for 30-35 minutes. Pie will set better if it is then chilled and is lovely served cold
